REPS News

REPS has a new Steering Committee. REPS has elected a new steering committee for the upcoming year:

Co-Chairs: Lauren VanDenBerg and Molly Brown
Secretary: Kyle Boyd
Website and Social Media Coordinator: Lucy Ross

Stay tuned for introductions on our website and a special election in May for open positions including Events Coordinator and Student Liaison.

NEA News

Call for news items and photos. NEA is looking for items to include in the July 2017 newsletter. Submissions are due May 15, 2017 to parke.sean@gmail.com.

SAA News

Spring Book Sale. SAA is having a book sale, with select books on sale for $15 or $10 through May 8th, while supplies last. Visit the SAA Bookstore.

Pop-Up Session Proposals for 2017 Annual Meeting. SAA is asking for submissions for sessions whose ideas and content may have “popped up” since November when initial proposals were due. Pop-Up Session Proposals are due May 24th.

Issues & Advocacy

National Library Legislative Day. National Library Legislative Day is May 1-2, 2017. The registration for the event in Washington, DC has been filled but you can participate online.
