Call for Submissions. Article and back cover photos for the upcoming October 2017 newsletter are needed. Back cover photos can be submitted to sally.blanchard-o’brien@sec.state.vt.us by Tuesday, August 15. Articles can be sent to parke.sean@gmail.com by Tuesday, August 15.

NEA/A.R.T. Spring 2018 Meeting call for proposals.
The NEA and Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York (A.R.T.) invite submissions of session proposals for their joint Spring Meeting, to be held March 22-24, 2019 in New Haven, Connecticut. The Spring 2018 Program Committee has created a space for NEA and A.R.T. members to develop proposals together. Proposals are due September 10, 2017 and can be submitted here.

Register Today.  The NEA Fall 2017 meeting will be held Saturday, September 23rd at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. You can register online today.

SAA News

SAA Annual Meeting. This year’s conference in Portland was the second largest in the history of the SAA. Keep your eye out for MP3s of recorded sessions. If your attended the meeting you can fill out an evaluation form. If you didn’t attend you can fill out a form to help SAA understand how to make the meeting more accessible.

WArS Salary Report. WArS has released their salary report.
